Our priority issues include preserving our Democracy, Voting Rights, supporting Public Education, Human Rights, Equality, Access to Health Care, and Mental Health Care through responsible budgeting and policymaking.

Dian McCarthy has been active in local politics since the mid oughts when the local dialogue was not aligned with her values, specifically around public education. In response, she helped found a grassroots movement that unified voters from diverse points in the political spectrum and increased informed voter engagement, changing the direction of the town.
From there, Dian went on to serve 3 consecutive terms on the School Board, serving 6 years as the Board Chairperson and 7 as the Board Rep to the Budget Committee. Under Dian's leadership, the Board transitioned from a period of intense scrutiny, failed budgets and poor public relations into an era of strong public confidence and support.
Dian also has a broad work experience in small business and most recently having served 10 years as the Executive Director of a non-profit agency providing a safety net and leadership opportunities for youth. She is known for her ability to communicate ideas, garner stakeholder buy-in and overcome obstacles.
When she is not working, Dian enjoys yoga, hiking and spending time at the coast with her family and rescue dog.
Casey Leach earned her Masters in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management. She has over a decade of fundraising experience.
